## Navigate ERPNext

After login you land on the **Home** workspace. The interface is consistent across all of ERPNext — once you know it, you know your way around.

### The top bar

| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Search** (Ctrl+G / Cmd+K) | Jump to any record, list or report by name |
| **Notifications** (bell) | New comments, assignments, system alerts |
| **Help** (?) | Keyboard shortcuts and contextual help |
| **Your avatar** | User menu, settings, log out |

### The left sidebar

Lists **Workspaces** — each module's landing page (Accounting, Selling, Buying, Stock, …). Click one to see its shortcuts, charts and recent records. Pin frequently-used Workspaces to keep them at the top.

### Three views every record has

| View | What you see |
|---|---|
| **List** | A table of all records with filters and bulk actions |
| **Form** | One record at a time, with every field |
| **Report** | Grouped, totaled view for analysis and export |

Switch via the toolbar at the top right of any list.

### Finding things fast

- **Search bar** — press **Ctrl+G** (Cmd+K on Mac). Type any name. The dropdown finds records, lists, reports and settings.
- **List filters** — on any list, click the filter field at the top and filter by status, date, customer, etc.
- **Recent items** — each Workspace shows the records you touched recently.

### Keyboard shortcuts

### Your personal settings

Set your preferred language, timezone and default landing page via **avatar menu → My Settings**. Each user's preference is independent.
